Messenger's Relic

I would like to share with you Messenger's Relic strap with completely unique stitching ( I have never seen it before). So it is probably the first strap ever made using this technique.

Yesterday I have found some free time for myself so I decided to get needles, threads and finish one strap.

The foretaste: Mind of Steel - Head & Stone's Eye buckles

I have been busy lately. However I have written below that some new works are coming.
So I share with you 2 new 5mm thick buckles. First(Stone's Eye) for my straps for testing, second (Mind of Steel-Head) specially designed and made for one of my new straps. More posts soon. Keep visiting:)

Shoot the breeze

I havent written here for couple of weeks...so I decided to put sth here ;)
Picture You can see below was taken on the sailing voyage. I had a great time there. Fresh fishes, hot sun, moving thanks to wind power, sleeping on a boat, drinking beer, laughing with each others - who wants more?

Later, when I got back to home, besides reading books etc I decided to make some new straps as I received new leather... Pictures soon :)

I have found some time to make new dark grey leather strap with black stitching, and here is the final effect.

Workout with : sand paper, holder, metal files

Yes, i know that I could use drill with sandpaper for better effect, but i didnt:)

I would like to present You My PRECIOUS - my first buckle. I have called it Iron Shell, and I think it realy rocks.
Yeah I feel absolutely great when I look at my wrist.

Iron Shell - Buckles !!

After hours of thinking, projecting, and waiting I have almost made my first buckles.
However a lot of work to do - polishing, getting edges more oval etc...
Some of them are sewed in, other has 5mm thick !!
I hope to finish them asap :)
